When the owners are Duke Fans, you know the food and service is going to be top notch! Some of the best "old style" hot dogs and hamburgers! This locally-owned restaurant is what American Cuisine is about!

If you're looking for a quintessential little southern diner in a strip mall, this is your place. It's complete with old fashion owner/cook that will gladly tell you all about all the cars he's restored and the great car loves of his life. He is genuine and extremely kind and thoughtful to your dining experience.

Food is average grill food. Breakfast and lunch sandwhiches, fries that sort of thing. Small menu but quick service. This is CASH ONLY which I find irritating in today's debit world but there is an ATM ($3 a pop) from which to get cash in the restaurant.  Normally, that would turn me off but the folks are just darn welcoming and kind that I quickly overlooked it and went with flow.

A BLT sandwich, cheeseburger, two fries and a iced tea cost $13.50. Kind of pricey for what we got. Not sure I'll drive out of my way for this but glad I experienced them at least once.

My husband and I stopped in here for breakfast this morning. If you're looking for a good old fashioned southern diner breakfast- this is it! Crispy bacon, hot oily home fries, eggs cooked in bacon grease and probably the best grits I've ever had. YUM. Eric was very friendly and welcoming. This place gives you a homey feel that started our day off great :)

You can tell this guy is a duke fan. He was a jerk the whole time to his employees. Yelling at them. Got here and 10 and ordered breakfast and he got mad! You could see his face. Food was ok. Nothing special. Go heels.

Pretty decent food. Bare bones eatery. I've only ate here a few times, because they only take cash. That's pretty annoying and inconvenient, especially in a tourist town.
